I just recently started reading Edgar Rice Burroughs Martian Trilogy
It's such good reading, so evocative and I'm absolutely loving them.
So here's my interpretation of John Carter. I leaned heavily on Frazettas' Mars art for inspiration, as is obvious in the sword
not happy with his feet but oh well. I'll blame the stock

I won't look at the feet, which are actually in good proportion to his hands ...
however... his left forearm is short, his head is a bit on the thick side (and large for his body), and the musculature on his right arm (specifically the bicep area) just seems wrong, and the line work on his pecks and abs seems a bit much in relation to the rest of the figure.
The flat colors work well, and you can definitely see the Frazetta influence.
